These pants are made of soft material, which is just a bit stretchy for comfort. They are close-fitting and slimming. The tag says "highest rise: falls slightly below the navel for our most conservative fit." Also, the fabric is not sheer. I wanted a comfortable pair of white cropped pants for summer. This fits the description nicely. Highly recommended!
